I just went to the corsair website, and I am confused. Is xms memory overclocked, or overclockable? Is xms the best buy for Overclocking?

XMS is corsairs fancy branding scheme... it stands for eXtreeme Memory Speed or something silly.

Basically XMS3200 = PC3200.

And yes, Corsair memory is usually very good for overclocking, Handpicked and tested. And the Black heatspreaders they use are so sexy!

Yes good memory and very overclockable....OCZ pc3500 EL is also another great alternative and is shown by some benchs to overclock a good bit higher than the corsair ram although they have done some bad business in the past....but my roommate and I built a machine for him using the ocz ram and succesfully overclocked a 2.5ghz p4 on a it7max2 rev2...to 3.288ghz (132fsb) before we hit a brick wall using a 3:4 memory divider......on another note MY machine (2.4B @ 2.88 160fsb) runs corsair xms3500 and will run ddr400+ at cas 2 without a sweat....either or you can buy with confidence
