Hello,
I'm getting Internet from my friend 3 houses down,and I've been using a d Link network adapter.i just got Linksys 2.4 802.11b and i don't know how to set it up
I'm trying to get a better signal

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

You need to follow the instructions that came with the router then when you get to the wireless security settings, ask your friend for the key. Three houses down is quite a distance - you may not see any improvement.
