I think they call them DVD Burners, and I'm in the market for one too.

I've looked at the Sony that does all formats and my buddy has the new TDK 4X indo.

I was wondering if anyone could give their opinion of the best burner out in the market right now.

Thanks.

Personally i wuld wait a bit untill the new generation of 4x burners come out, alot faster than the 2.4's with better crosscompatibility too.

Thats another thing that just has to be solved before they become common. There are just too many different dvd formats around.

I have heard the Sony writers will not burn Playstation games :frown: I hope it isn't true, a pity really since I invested in the DRU120A. Otherwise this DVD RW has performed great so far.
I have also taken the assumtion that DVD+RW will become the standard.
