Steady high pitch tone from PC and also no video

Hello,..My backup computer has lost video and when you hit power button (on) there's a steady high pitched tone

Doesn't sound like a Windows 7 problem. It's probably hardware related.

Where's the high pitched tone coming from? Power supply?

It's hard to pinpoint exactly where the sound is coming from but I'm going to take it to my trusted computer shop and let them look (hear) at it
