Should I just go for an el cheapo case right now if I just want to get my system a house and go for a nice aluminum, light weight, heat disappating, albeit expensive, case later, something along the lines of a lian li pc601? And what would be that good cheap case that doesn't necessarily look great or last me for more than a few months, but is good enough to throw my system together in?

This thread just begs the quiestion:
Why dont you just buy a LianLi now and save the money you would have spent on the cheap case?

Just find the lianLi you want and buy it. You wont be disappointed.

I wouldn't cut corners with the case, it is an important part of the system. I would say go for the Lian-Li now.

Also see if you can find an atlas/superflower/pynatron case in your region. They are as good if not better than LianLI.

I also have the superflower case. It is very similar to Lian Li but I do not think it is as good as Lian Li. Lian Li case Looks better.

Really? Which one did you get? Obviously not the BLACK one

I found my atlas better becauze it had all of the following:

1. Removable 5 hard drive tray
3. Removable mobo tray with PCI slots incorporated.
2. Side, Top and TWO rear fan holes for up to 6 casefans
3. Anodised black inside and out

ok, so everyone's saying the Lian Li's are better than Antec, so what would you guys recommend a Lian li case for me that would be similar to an Antec 1000 AMG Performance PlusView case (and not too terribly overpriced or maybe one you just recommend cuz it's good)? one that preferibly has a side window? thx

I have the black one. Actually I have 2 and I also have a Lian Li PC65B(another black case). Their Black case looks better than Lian Li's Black case but I still like my silver Lian Li PC68 the best.

They are a bit pricey... but you do get a quality case with all the bells and whistles.
