Hi,
I will be deploying to Afghanistan shortly and I was told there was a way to set up a VPN so that I could use my computer at home as an internet source for my laptop. Many internet providers in AFG block certain websites and games and I was wondering how I could set up my computer to connect to MMO's or these blocked sites. I have a Cisco VPN service on my computer already but no idea if it will work for what im trying.

Thanks for any help!

Gaming over a VPN is not pleasant (I have done it!). Games use unreliable UDP for low latency messages, but a VPN uses TCP which is a reliable stream and subject to high latency. The UDP game messages get encapsulated inside TCP, so the latency in the game is not consistent and the messages can actually be delayed for seconds at a time!
