Yes, this is yet another Audigy 2 Platinum question.

Last weekend I constructed a new system. I used a Thermaltake Xaser II case, Expox 8RDA+ motherboard, Gigabyte Maya II (ATI Radeon 9700 Pro based), 512MB DDR RAM, Maxtor 120GB HD, Toshiba DVD and Plextor CD-RW. I also included a Creative Audigy 2 Platinum. The system is running Windows XP Service Pack 1, and the drivers have been updated from Creative's own website.

The problem lies with the remote. When pressing most of the buttons on the remote (eg volume), there is a noticeable delay between pressing the button and getting a response from the PC (usually about a second). However, when using the CD Eject button the delay stretches to about a minute. Is this 'normal', or is there a way to correct this?

I have tried updating drivers and patches, and have trawled through Creative's Knowledgebase, all with no success.I have also tried incresing the task priority of the Creative software to High, and there is still no difference. There is no other background software running.

Thanks in advance for all your help.
