Most ISPs have a system whereby, whenever the router gets reset, your speed will initially be lower than expected until it has settled down to a reliable speed.
If there is no improvement after a couple of days, try resetting the router again (turn it off, then on again).
Another possibility is that any custom settings you set up on your router will have been lost when the router was turned off, so all router settings will have returned to their defaults. If that's the case, you will have to change those router settings back to your preferred values.
