Hi
I am currently getting about 45 24bit audio tracks playback on my daw using logic 5.5, ata 100 IDE HDD.

Will using raid 0 with 2 ata 100 drives double my track count?

using two equal capacity drives in raid 0 does double the capacity, as well as increasing the transfer rates significantly.

It should increase it, but I'm not sure if it will exactly double. Memory can play a roll in your track count as well, along with the processor, if your applying real time effects. Another solution is to use separate system and data drives, which is usually recommended for video editing.
