When I get a phone call my router keeps dropping its intenet connection - any id

Hello,
When I make or receive a phone call my wireless router loses it's intenet connection. This didn't used to happen but has only started happening over the last couple of months. I have re-configured the router and uploaded the latest router software but this didn't work. THe router and phone are connected into the same ADSL socket. ANy ideas?

There are usually filters that the phone company puts in so this don't happen. In the routers internal settings can you switch to a different channel , most routers come by default on channel 1 , try and change it to channel 6 ,9 or 11. Also if it's a dual band router try the other frequency.
