Serial #1304, perfect shape except for a VU meter bulb out.
What's a good price to ask for this unit and where might I get the best
response? Is this an eBay candidate or am I beter off selling it
locally (Los Angeles)?
I'm in MAJOR need of cash before the end of the first week of January
or I would not be selling this, my prize possession. I think I have the
schematics on it too.
Thanks,
Andrew

Your best bet would be to sell it to me for $200, since you've done business
with me before & you know I won't stiff you.
Seriously, what are you hoping to get for it? You can e-me in private if you
want by taking out the obvious portion of my e-mail address.

Haven't checked in a while, but I would guess somewhere between 2k and
2.6k depending on the condition, and the circumstances of the sale. I
would think you could get 2 grand right away to someone in this group.

That sounds about right. I have looked at prepal and their numbers
always seem to be very conservative, almost like fire sale prices. On
the street, that is really about what a vintage 1176 sells for and the
1178 typically sells for more, since it is 2 channels.

If you want it sold quickly & don't want to hassle with shipping I'd put a free
ad in the Recycler. You might be able to get it in this week's issue, which
comes out on Thursday.
