Wiring Cat5 to Phone Lines

I was recently tasked at work to reinstall phone lines after a remodel. We have 2 phone lines with two phones and a credit card machine. I ran into a piece of equipment and I have know idea what it is so my research into the subject has been halted. If someone could tell me what this is called it would be much appreciated.

based on the picture the 1st, 3rd, and 5th connecter are connected to on phone number (orange pair, right side)
and the 2nd, 4th, and 6th connector are connected to the other phone number (blue pair, left side)
