Hi all; I ran into a peculiar problem today. My XP randomly rebooted, and when it would egt to the windows screen it would reboot again. So, I went into the BIOS to make sure everything was OK. Everything was cool. so I reboot and this time I notice the BIOS count reports 384 MB RAM. The problem is I have 512 MB (2 sticks of 256 MB). So my question is, can part of a memory stick fail, and leave the rest of the stick working properly? this is the only thing I can think that happened. By the way, I have a Soyo Dragon Ultra board and I just installed it about a week ago - and I did a clean install of XP, and it was recognizing the RAM perfectly fine earlier tonight.

Is this a double post? I just answered this question somewhere else.
