Hello,
In the church ceiling crawl space we a large number of wires/cables that are not indentified and seem to go nowhere and appear to have no function at all. Is there any crossover effect, EMF, with the few CAT5’s we need plus there is cell tower out back and what effect does that have on our cables in our ceiling crawl space. Is it best to wireless?

The only issue real that you need to be aware of with EMF and CAT5 is that Ethernet cables should not run close and parallel to lines with any significant electrical current -- the CAT5 should cross over those types of wires at 90 degrees. I usually try to keep them 3 feet apart except where they must cross. Also best not to run your Ethernet cable too close to in ceiling florescent lights, the farther away the better.

Cable is far more stable and less susceptible to interference. Just keep the runs below 100 meters.
