A question on capture card/software packages...

Okay, I probably won't get one for a while yet, but I'm interested to if there are any capture cards that offer good quality, a good editing package and a cheap price. I'm mainly looking at it for editing videos for fine arts class and for converting old tapes to digital format. However, the software part is quite important.

Pinnacle Systems makes good low end and high end video capture cards with some newbie friendly software.

I would have to agree with the prisoner, Pinnacle makes the best economy video capture/editing boxes. However if you are doing any serious editing don't go below their DV500 line.



If I paid as much attention to people as I do computers I would be married.
