Too bad I just dropped off my phone at my dealer. They said it could
take 4 weeks. And they gave me some piece of junk Nokia loaner.

As it turns out I got it back in 12 days. Firmware upgraded and
resoldering of something called a J1400/F1400.
We'll see if the battery lasts longer.
I like the vibe & ring feature!

It's been over 48 hours with no charge, and the battery meter still
says full. I think they fixed it!

How did you make out with the battery life and did it improve reception?

Well I never had a reception problem - it's always been great.
The battery problem is now fixed. I can leave it for days on a single
charge. It's like night & day. Previously it would run out after less
than 24 hours on standby.

They also added a vibe & ring option. That's great too!
