Realtek just stopped working

Hello,
one day it worked and the next day it didn't. I checked all connections are ok, control panel fix found no problems. There used to be a different icon and in it was a mute button, I can't find this icon there are icons that say mute/ and I have tried toggling on and off nothing seems to work

check in the bios to see if you turned off the audio chipset or someone did. on the bottom right of the task bar if you have the realteck software loaded should be a speaker icon in dark blue if it not there see if the windows speaker icon is. if it not check to se if your missing the drivers for the sound card. if your not missing any of the drivers check that your speakers are plugged into the green port.
