Realtek just stopped working

Hello,
one day it worked and the next day it didn't. I checked all connections are ok, control panel fix found no problems. There used to be a different icon and in it was a mute button, I can't find this icon there are icons that say mute/ and I have tried toggling on and off nothing seems to work

if that doesn't work tell us what happens when you open realtek manually. its possible that it simply switched to start manually instead of auto for some reason. Its also possible that the drivers need updated.

Edit: also down near your clock find the audio icon and open it, hit mixer, check if anything is disabled/muted.
