HI,

I had written a number of files on a CDRW disc. Then I decided to get rid of some files. I used the ROXY software.

There was a number of files that had become corrupted on the disc and there were a number of files (40) or more that had reduplicated themselves about 20 times on the DISC.

I put this command

Del copy*.*.* (to the CDRW drive).

What it did was to delete all the files on the disc and left the folders. The extra files which were outside the folders were deleted.

I went into the Roxy utility to use the scandisc with no problems found. I tried the undelete feature but it said it was for the Roxy 5.0 software and Ihave the Roxy 5.1.
This area of undelete will no highlight to try the undelete feature on this disc. I need to save these files.
Any ideas anyone?

Theres a CD Recovery program, in the Utilities section at http://www.bootdisk.com, I haven't personally tried that particular program, because I only use CDR disks, but I did use the Hardrive recovery tool, and recovered a friend of mine's files after she had formatted her hardrive, give it a try you don't have anything to loose.
