My computer vs. my brother's computer

I have a dell exp 8500, while by bro has a dell inspiron 560. We both share a belkin 3094 router. He use a wireless adapter netgear 150n, while i use an ethernet cable. My computer is of course better but i get higher ping in games than my bro's ping in games. While he gets a ping of 80s-100s, i get over 500s( In LEAGUE OF LEGENDS). WHAT IS HAPPENIN I THOUGHT CABLE WAS BETTER THAN WIFI! IS THE WORLD OF INTERNET GOING MAD!!!!

Cable is better than WiFi and your connection should be much better , you may want to go into the router and set a QoS profile for your computer to give it a higher priority.
