will v300 games work on a v3?

or looking for a good site for games for the v3 - free or pay - doesn't
matter.
Just can't get games from t-mobile because I can't choose v3 as my phone. I
selected the v300, but when I try and get to the games, it says that my
phone doesn't support games.
I found another site, but it only has v300 games - will these work ?
