Not until level 10, no.

No.

Yes, assuming you can get past the massive bugfest. Some of them, of
course, work for you. I particularly like the summoned high level demons
that never un-summon, and wander around killing things (very
efficiently) until you nail them yourself just to be rid of them.

By the time you reach level 10 (if you do), you're not going to need any
more power to finish.

I finished it. The cap didn't seem to be a problem.
