What is this strange device in my modem status table?

Hello,
I have a strange entry on my computer modem page (running Windows 7 with Quest PK5000 modem).
At the the top of the table it says:
Device Name udhcp 0.9.8
IP Address 192.168.0.9
No of open sessions 165
This may seem like a moronic question but what is udhcp 0.9.8 and why are there so many open sessions? We only have one computer & one xbox online right now.
I am sure the answer will make me feel stupid lol but you guys are always great to help me out![:)]( ":)")
