I've just had a new Talk talk router installed and my ipad and TV all work. My computer was never wireless and now we've had to move the router downstiars, i've got a wireless adaptor to make the computer work wireless. The computer picks up the wireless connection but won't let me connect as it says the network security key is wrong -i'm typing it in right and have checked the key with talk talk. Any suggestions?
Did TalkTalk mention the key is case sensitive? I believe they use some capital letters. One other possibility is that the level of security in the router is higher than your wireless adapter can handle so what is the make and model of the adapter you bought? Also, is your TalkTalk router the only one in the list of available wireless networks? Please don't be offended - I have known people try for days to connect to a neighbour's network with their own key.
