I have a VisionTek XTasy GeForce 4 TI 4400. It has VGA, S-Video and DVI outputs. I want to be able to hook it up to a projector at the LAN Parties I run and to my 19" monitor. I wanted to hook up the projector via S-Video. Now, one of my partners who runs the parties with me says that Nvidia cards can only output thru one source at a time... I haven't tried this yet because I haven't ordered my S-Video cable yet. I was just wondering if what I want to do is possible?? Or do the cards have a flaw of some kind that prevent this??

Thanks

Earlier cards did have a "flaw" in that they couldn't run separate frequencies to the two outputs, but I don't think the 4400 is affected by this. Versions affected by that problem could be forced to feed two outputs with tools such as TV-Tool, the problem there being the 30Hz signal going to the monitor. Anyway, like I said, I don't think the 4400 was affected.

When you say 'earlier' what kind of early do you mean? Early as by models or early as by a specified date?
