I just installed my new 60gb hard drive as a slave to my old drive.
I wanted to copy all my files in my old drive to new drive, but many times I got a error message saying that access denied or file is being used by windows. How can I make the transfer the easiest way?

the easiest way is to do it from dos

or you can use ghost... or just copy the files you need and net EVERY file on the old hd. i take it you have your os installed on the old drive? btw do you copy and paste or do you cut and paste? try copy and paste.

<font color=orange><b>as you get older, your hard drive becomes floppy, but don't fear viagra is here. viagra puts the hard back in your drive!!!

A few weeks ago I used HDCopy written by Kurt Zimmerman, put the cloned drive in a new system and have had zero problems. The program is free and available at Major Geeks.

Be advised this is for Win9x/ME and also that it will not format the drive for you, but it sounds as if you've got that covered already.
