Here's the scenario... I screw around with my own and my family's computers a lot. I keep my main cds here with me in my apartment, but keep backup copies at home with my family. The only problem is when you copy a normally bootable os cd, it is no longer bootable. Sure, you can install the os through DOS, but that takes a lot longer. I have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum installed on this machine and was wondering how I go about making an os cd bootable. EZCD Creator gives me these options for floppy and hdd emulation or no emulation at all. What do I want? I think the general idea is to get the image from the original cd, and then get a boot.ini file from a Win2k cd? I've read a lot of different stuff and am trying to get the real info. Anyone know the exact method?
