FAQ Revision

Does anyone think that the FAQ's need updating. Does anyone even look at them?

If so, what.

i never read them... but there is always room for improvement no?

How about adding something on SATA? I mean things such as bandwidth, no. of drives supported, cable used, and whether it's worth to switch to SATA now, etc.

If there is new info available, whether or not it's frequently asked for, I would update them.

My first visit here was because I had a few questions, of course..heh heh.. But the first thing I did was read the FAQ in the area I was interested in...and the answer to one of my questions was there. Sooo...in my particular case the FAQs worked...of course if I'm the only one reading them then someone has gone to a lot of work for very little return.

One question that seems to get asked in here weekly is "which hard drive to buy?".. Now that's a FAQ! Too bad there is not a simple answer...

heh. dont want a controversial FAQ...
besides, too many different opinions abound...
why i think W.D. JB's are good, some others have had ad experiences with them and think the opposite.

try to keep the arguments in the forum, not the faq

They left out Raid 0/5...not that anybody would use it, but ya know they could .
