Wireless network keeps dropping on laptop

Hello,
I have an acer aspire V3-771 that continually drops wireless connection. At a loss. Any ideas? Computer is still under warranty but I really don't want to send it back to Acer. They will have it two weeks.

Reduce the obstructions between the wireless router and the laptop. Set the router on a high shelf per instructions in the manual, and at a centralized location if possible.
