icewind dale 2 question.

hi, i'm in chapter 2 of icewind dale 2, where you have to get the
materials to fix the airship. problem is you need spider silk, which i
didn't realise, and killed all the spiders without getting any. can i do
anything other than reloading an old savegame? i've tried to conjure a
spider, but when i kill it, the body just vanishes. is there a cheat code
i can use to make a spider appear, so that it's body will remain when i
kill it, or is there any other way i can get some spider silk?

IIRC there are codes that allow you to port items into the game.
Check at www.gamefaqs.com for the console commands.

Maybe you can keep resting and hope some spiders would spawn?
