Recently my T2 started crashing when I used the Find function (magnifier).
Gives message like "Fatal error " and then requests reset or just resets
itself
I fixed it by reinstalling everything, but now it has started crashing again
on using Find.

Found it!
Corrupt database indexes?- trick for fixing on palm site.(re sort database
and then rre-sort again to put back the way it is wanted) Seems to have
worked so far.

Please share, having a little difficulty find the link you refer to on
Palm and I get the same thing after a Find sometimes.
I thought that following the instruction worked fine, but I've had some more
problems this afternoon and now knowing that it is a database issue, was able
to see that it crashed consistently when it got to finding in the
application Documents to Go.
I have an old version of Documents to Go but downloaded a trial of the
latest version the other day. I deleted this and apparently have fixed the
problem (for now, I should say!!), I then went to the "palm on the internet
manual" and found a specific article on Documents to Go on the Palm site
http://205.141.210.149/SRVS/CGI-BI [...] CASE=26202
I'll reinstall Douments To Go now and see if it stuffs up again. Then I'll
try the fixes in the article.
Hope this helps Andrew

Freeware app Findtester identifies those apps that are causing
find to crash.
In all likelyhood it could be a similar issue on your palm.
An application that doesn't handle global find correctly -
it seems you've already identified the culprit
"Documents To Go"
