V551 faceplates

Archived from groups: alt.cellular.motorola (More info?)

I like the rubbery feel of part of the V551 faceplate, but hate the
silvery part. Are there any faceplates made that are similar but
without that silver part, or at least a variation of that theme? I've
only seen plain plastic ones.

Also, I've seen transparent ones, but never what it looks like on the
phone itself. Anyone know of any pics around of that?
