Hi

I've probably managed to toast my current montherboard as its doing strange things. (like not working at 133 FSB but ok with 100 - Athlon 2400). It could be that the ram is the problem and I'll find that out soon but the other option is that the montherboard is dead so I'm shopping for another.

The problem is that I've currently got PC2100 ECC ram and the current crop of nForce2 boards don't support ECC.

Will my ECC ram still work even though the motherboard doesn't suppport it ?

Thanks !

Yes. If a module has ECC but the MCH (Memory Controller) does not, the MCH will set the ECC setting to zero. In essence it means that it shuts off the ECC functionality.
