V551 Ringer setting want stay where I set it (HELP)

The button on the side of the 551 is easily hit and changes the ring
option, ususally to silent. Is there anyway to disable this button so
that the ringer option will stay were I set it.

Try ---Settings>security>lock application, then you can select whichever
application, like the ring styles, to lock. Thanks to someone who gave
me this advice sometime ago here, and it worked on my V551!
