Win 7 wont boot with RAID configuration and IDe controller card

Hello,
My win 7 machine boots perfectly with two SATA mirrored drives and a Promise Ultra 133 TX2 IDE controller card with no drives attached. But when I connect drives to either IDE1 or IDE2, the machine will not even get to win start up. Any ideas?

Check your Bios settings...IDE or RAID etc...
