Well, considering the Evil Twin is 2 to 3 times the price, I can
understand you liking it better. And also considering most people use a
Countryman or an ART "Tube" pre as a D/I, judging against those for
tone, it sounds truly incredible.
And yes, it's "for sale" at an auction site...........which you can
purchase here.......

...............and though it doesn't have a Buy It Now price, it's still a
great deal.

No, it's up for auction; why don't you understand the difference? Label
it as such for the benefit of the forum. Some folks prefer to ignore FS
and/or FA and/or OT posts. They deserve that consideration.
BTW, a Baggs Paracoustic DI sounds better than the Countryman and Art,
by far, and costs a good deal less than the Aguilar.

What are "Countryman" and "ART" doing in the same sentence?!
What makes the DB 900 an obviously misguided device is that it uses a 12AX7,
a high-gain low-tolerance tube, when a 12AY7 would make much more sense.
And what's the point of the transformer when the tube could just as easily
work as an inverter? Plus they don't list the plate voltage, a telltale
sign that it's 50V at best, well short of spec.
The sad thing is that it was probably developed to satisfy a demand from
people that browse forums such as this one, and think that any DI with the
words "tube" and "Jensen transformer" in its feature list is paydirt.
I'll take a BSS AR133 over this pig-in-a-silk-hat anyday.
