I recently purchased and Epson 3170 scanner. However, when I scan most of the time the image looks ok on the monitor but it seems to print darker than the image. When I print directly from the scanner it prints fine. Help

Sounds like you have a monitor calibration issue.

Thank you for your response but I'm kind of ignorant about computers so could you please explain what you mean about monitor calibration. Thanks again.
