question:

One has a small but fast cache memory: on average, 10% of the time the data the CPU wants is in cache, and data in the cache can be accessed by CPU in 10% of the amount of time the CPU can access data in main memory. The other computer has more cache,so that on average 20# of the time the desired data is in the cache, and data in this cache can be accessed by the cpu in 15% of the amount of time the cpu can access data in main memory.

if the price is same, which one is better? thanks.

Faster cache is sometimes perferable to lots of cache, it all depends on what you want to be running, gaming or work. A slower cach could cripple games but more cache could really help workstation programs like photoshop.
