You don't need mpt, just bluetooth file exchange.

I don't know about on a PC but on a Mac it couldn't be simpler.

If all you want is photo and movie transfer, Mac or WindowsXP bluetooth
exchange should work for you. MPT would synchronize phonebook contents,
which isn't available with the standard bluetooth tools.

If you just plug in a bluetooth adapter to a WinXP-SP2 PC, it might have
all the utility you need, without touching the vendor's CDROM or drivers.

For my DLink DBT-120, I loaded the drivers from the CDROM, and then had to
make some adjustments to get the automatically-installed WinXP-SP2 out of
the way. http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.asp?prod_id=2146

I'm using USB. Normally there is a cable included.
Otherwise buy a standard mini-USB cable.

Then load
- Mobile phone tools from Motorola
- Mobiledit from Compelson
- pk2man ... from motomodders.net or...
install it and you can transfer files and do much more.

Also try Mobiledit, a universal tool not only to download pictures but
also good for all other phone content handling, messages, backup,
dialing, copying...
