In Berlin I saw many shops offering a SIM for 15 or 20 Euros of
usage...usually around 30 minutes of time...but havent seen this here in
the USA...Does anyone know if this available here??

Most of the prepaid offerings in third-party stores are bundles with phone
and SIM. If you go, for instance, to a T-Mobile company-operated store,
they can sell you a starter SIM with air time. At last account it was $30.

Read that V60s might not meet GPS requirements in the USA and therefore
might not work here after June 2005...As I plan on using this phone
strictly for Out of the country usage is this an issue that should
concern me or is this a USA issue only.

http://www.internationalstudent.com/prepaid_phones/simp...
sells just the pre-paid SIMs for T-Mobile, for use in your existing phone.

I'm sure there are others. http://www.cellularchoices.net maybe.
