my problem is my meraki wireless router has failed and meraki no longer offers products for my application.
the meraki system had the router(?) at one location and a "receiver" located 200 feet away. there
is no physical connection between the 2 locations.
most of the time i am within 50 feet of the router(?) the remainder of the time i am at the other location.
i use this "system" for email and web browsing and an occasional video clip. not real hi tech.
i have a DSL line from the local phone company with 1.5m/sec internet service.
my question is; what equipment do i need to get to replace the meraki? is it possible to reuse
the meraki "receiver"?
i would like to do this as inexpensively as possible but with good stuff that will last for a while.
if possible please explain your suggestions in a manner that an old non tech person can understand.
please send suggestions to;

any and all help is greatly appreciated, and merry Christmas.

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

So long as any router you buy is broadcasting on the same channel as the receiver is set to receive ion, there should be no problems. Being from the same manufacturer or a different one is not an issue with products designed and built to the same US or other national standards.
