I've been mulling over getting a 17" LCD monitor for quite some time now... and based on THG's recommendations it seems like a no-brainer to buy one with the Hydis-manufactured panel. My question is- now that it's impossible to buy a ProphetView 920 Pro (or Pro/DVI), and the Hyundai Q17 is so excessively overpriced (I can't find it anywhere at Froogle.com for under $620), are there any other panels other than the Hitachi CML174/175 that use the Hydis panel? Not to bag on the Hitachi, but I would really like to have a monitor with a nicely designed stand(the Prophetview and the Viewsonic 171b are my definite favorites). Although I'm sure the Hitachi has a kickass image, it doesn't strike as very ergonomically friendly... any advice? And do any owners of the Hitachi out there have anything good to say about how their monitor is designed?
