Hi; I bought two 512-MB sticks of PC2100/ECC/Reg from Micron to take to Colombia to build a server for a poor school in a rural area. Unfortunately, when I got to Bogota, nobody had a board that it would work with. So I'm stuck with the RAM until I can find a solution! I'm trying to do my homework now, but does someone have a suggestion about what board I could buy to put this RAM into?

Cheers,
Jeff

What processor, $$$ you want to spend, options?

<A HREF="http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=A7M266-D&langs=01" target="_new">Asus A7M266-D</A> For a dual Athlon MP that can use registered and unbuffered memory.

<A HREF="http://www.abit.com.tw/abitweb/webjsp/english/mb_spec.jsp?pPRODUCT_TYPE=MotherBoard&pMODEL_NAME=AT7-MAX2" target="_new">Abit AT7-Max2</A> AMD Athlon, Athlon XP, Duron

There are a bunch of others but what do you need or want exactly? Options, etc.

usualy that for XEON and athlon MP go on tyan.com for mothersboards.

A P3 800 mghz will do the job normaly for small server

Just next to the lab and the bunker you will find the marketing departement.
