I have wow cable and internet and I need help finding a modem compatible with their service. Trying to get a new modem asap. Don't want to spend more than $90 if possible. Will check back in the morning. Thanks

Can I use my own cable modem? [-]

A:
Yes, you can use you own cable modem for WOW! Internet service, but customer-owned modems may not be capable of getting the full speeds from some of our Internet packages. A DOCSIS 1.1 or higher modem is required and a DOCSIS 3.0 modem is required for 30 Mbps and 50 Mbps Internet customers.

For Ultra TV customers the DOCSIS 3.0 modem is included in the gateway and must be used with this service.

Ultra TV, 30Mbps and 50Mbps are not available in Mid-Michigan.

I am very happy with the results from my Zoom 5341J so far, but it has only been a week or so, but so far performance has been spot on. Heard good things about the Motorola SB6121 as well...

I would steer clear of the Cisco / Linksys DPC3008-CC. I had that one in mind at first, but after reading the reviews, it looks like it isn't a good modem...
