MM7 "button" anvil

I'm still curious about that anvil on Emerald Isle, near where you start the
game, in front of the weapons or armor store across the street from the inn.
Pass the cursor over any part of the anvil and it says "button"--but
clicking on any part of it, from any direction, doesn't seem to do anything.

I sort of suspect it's something the game developers originally intended to
have some function but then forgot about. Does anyone know different?

Nope - I think I remember reading that somewhere - they'd inteded it
to do something (repair armour ? a hidden weapon stash ?) then
changed their mind/ran out of time and forgot to remove the clickable
bit of the anvil.

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes !
They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses !
And what's with all the carrots ?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway ?
Bunnies ! Bunnies ! It must be BUNNIES !

I think that quote was from the musical episode of Buffy the Vampire
Slayer. The character Anya (I think) had an irrational fear of bunnies,
and this was her section of a particular song.

Thanks. That's good enough for me. :)

Would you mind explaining that bunnies thing again? I remember your
mentioning the source (years ago, I think) but now I forget what it was.

Its even stranger when you remember that she used to raise rabbits. And I'm
not so sure her fear was irrational. There were some hints that she had
found out something about them but Whedon never said what it was.
