Hello

I got a question about RIMM (RAMBUS)

I have a Asus P4T-E motherbord which uses RIMM memory.
I now have 2x128 mb and I just got am extra 256 mb but I can´t get it to work. So here are my questions:

Do you have to have same size (128 or 256 mb) in all the slots?
Do they always have to be in "pairs"?
What slots can I use?
Is it possible to get my stuff to work or do I need to change? (ie buy an extra 256 or get 2x128 instead)

Thx
/H

RIMM must be pairs. Same size.

It's always the one thing you never suspected.

you have to buy to stick of 256 mb even if you allready of two stick.

2 or 4 stick only exception to P4T533 that can use only 1 to 2 stick

Just next to the lab and the bunker you will find the marketing departement.

Yes you need pairs. I suggest getting another 256MB module. If you think you don't need that much, you can resell te 2 128MB sticks.
