Operation Flashpoint

I'm trying to get this damn game to stop crashing. I have no idea what the problem is, but it randomly just closes. I don't get a crash error or anything, it just closes.

I've reinstalled windows, tryed both XP and 98se, tried different drivers, nothing seems to work. What would make a game crash like this? I've changed the resolutions and lowered all the settings just in case it was the voodoo giving me problems but I've run out of ideas.

version 1.2? i think that was the standard american release version... theres an upgrade to 1.3 out, maybe try that?

a good uk site i like is www.ofp.jolt.co.uk , there was quite a lot of advice that seemed to work being given out... i expect i'll be back round there when i get my new system up

by the way, just incase youre using a pirated version, thats probably why, its copy protection seems very strong and is subtle about it, changes for diff people, very weird. just saying in case
