I recently installed a new hdd to my computer. Since that installation I cannot play any of my games. Every time I start a game it freezes and is accompanied by either a continous high-pitched squeal, a sound loop or static noises. It most is the sqealing and I have to manually restart my computer. I have a SoundBlaster Audigy Gamer card. I have downloaded all the new drivers for every piece of hardware I can think of and nothing is overclocked. My computer runs fine until I try to play a game. When I tried to uninstall the sound drivers I got a 'memory could not be read" error. Is it a bad memory stick or a driver issue?
