Sanyo 8100 vs. RL2500

I've had the 8100 for about two weeks now, and I'm not happy with the
quality of the earpiece - very muffled on certain calls. I'm thinking
about trying the RL 2500. I'm not interested in a camera, SMS, etc.
-- simply want a phone that works... Any opinions on earpiece quality
in the 2500 vs. 8100 ?

The 2500 is excellent, and the speaker designed for ReadyLink makes a
wonderful speaker phone. The battery life is poor with ReadyLink in use.
If the ReadyLink is disabled, battery life is normal for a color phone
(2 to 3 days).

I agree that the 5400 is a great phone, but all of these *tiny8 phones
reqire that you position them properly to your ear--even with the
5400/5500--what I do is just run the volumn up ( on the 5400 in can be
quite loud) and hold it at an angle to my head/ear--your right about
the speaker phone too--it's very, loud.

I got the 2500 last week. Seems about the same as the 8100 in terms
of earpiece quality - fairly poor on most calls. I'll give it a bit
more time - but I may try the 4500. Thanks to all for the info ...
