I HotSync my Palm Pilot Vx with Outlook (2002 and now 2003)using
PocketMirror. The HoySync works generally flawlessly except for one
irritating function: Contact items in Outlook that are listed
alphabetically, such as WXYZ-TV, end up on the Palm listed
alphabetically as TV, WXYZ. This happens with contacts with multiple
names. The Florida Sun listing goes from "The Florida Sun" to Sun,
Florida, The.
Is there any way to correct this? Is this the work of Outlook,
PocketMirror or the Palm?
I cannot find any preference options in the Palm that might affect
this.
Any input will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Is "The Florida Sun" stored in a 'Company' or a 'Name' field?
(Whether a single field or First_Name, Last_Name. Sorry, but I don't
have/use Outlook so I don't know its fields or the names of them.)
ie, if you put "Jason Penn" in the First_Name field of one record
(leaving Last_Name blank) and put "Jasper Penn" in the Last_Name
field of another record (similarly leaving its First_Name field
blank) would the records end up on the Palm as "Penn Jason" and
"Penn Jasper"? If so, my guess is that either Outlook or
PocketMirror is responsible, and don't know if there are any
solutions other than lots of editing.
